Zhejiang BNM Breaks Ground on New Factory, Ushering in a New Era for peel-off end Packaging~

 

 

 

August 16, 2024 – BNM, Zhejiang Bosun New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new factory in the Shanhuan New Park of Yueqing Economic Development Zone. This marks the official start of construction for BNM’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, which will soon boast three modern buildings, the production centre, the office and the comprehensive service dormitory building building. The new factory is located next to National Highway No. 228, 25 kilometers from the airport, and is surrounded by metro stations. It is a logistics hub and has convenient transportation. BNM Founder and General Manager Sun Guojin and other company leaders attended the ceremony.

With a planned total investment of approximately 200 million yuan, the BNM Shanhuan new factory project covers an area of over 30 mu and has a total construction area of more than 50,000 square meters. It is expected to be completed and put into production by the end of 2025. Upon completion, it is expected to create over 300 jobs. This project will undertake the production, research, and development of innovative peel-off end packaging and easy-to-open safety packaging. It will effectively promote the upgrading of the peel-off end industry and play a crucial role in cultivating new productive forces for the peel-off end packaging industry and the entire packaging industry.

General Manager Sun Guojin stated that the overall direction of global packaging development is towards safety, convenience, and environmental friendliness. As a safe and easy-to-open packaging product, peel-off ends meet the needs of market development and consumer interests. BNM will actively seize development opportunities, increase investment, strengthen product research and development innovation capabilities, upgrade production lines, and improve the level of intelligence and automation to push the peel-off end industry to new heights.

Sun emphasized that BNM will continue to focus on the development of the health industry, infant food, and pet food industries. The direction of product innovation and research will focus on addressing packaging challenges faced by consumers with varying abilities, including the elderly, children, and those with limitations physical strength. The market served by the new BNM factory will continue to be primarily domestic, while also meeting the high-end packaging needs of regions such as Europe, America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Japan, and South Korea.

Sun introduced that the new BNM factory will focus on building a product research and development center covering thousands of square meters. The research and development center will be equipped with laboratories for material research, product function research, and product application research. Offering advanced testing capabilities through a combination of domestic and imported equipment. By delving into consumer usage needs and functional experience research, the center will develop packaging products that meet and lead consumer demand. It will also install equipment that simulates food factories, with the ability to solve peel-off end packaging application problems.

Upon reaching full production, the new BNM factory is expected to have an annual production capacity of one billion sets of peel-off ends and an annual output value of nearly 600 million yuan, opening a new chapter for the innovative development of the peel-off end packaging industry.
